GT was originally founded in the summer of 2008 by me (Cpt Awesome) as a group for Halo 3. Back then, GT stood for Grunt_Tacular and we had a nice little group going out of the Bungie website. Since then, GT has evolved into a multi-game clan and online community.
GT entered it's second phase in the fall of 2009 and our membership began to grow. It was around this time that I decided to recruit someone as a moderator to help with the increase in members. I recruited a guy by the name of Relinquished to help me manage the site. As we expanded, he designed and hosted a new site for GT.
When GT moved to the new site, membership really picked up and we generated a very active Call of Duty 4 section called the 75th Rangers. The 75th was lead be Wildbrad who soon grew power hungry, and, with the help of relinquished, took over the site. I and those still loyal to GT were removed from our own site and it was absorbed by the 75th.
After the betrayal by the 75th, the remnants of GT regrouped and I started this site. We will rebuild, and we will be back. While we are operating under the radar until for the time being to avoid harassment, we still accept new members and we will still have fun in a well organised and acitve online community.
